The Big 5!

Pure Romance is all about helping you feel sexier and increasing your desire to strengthen your marriage relationship. In my mind you can't truly help fulfill another person unless you feel fulfilled yourself. This does not mean that you are a finished product. On the contrary, I feel most fulfilled when I am working towards something. I also feel most close to my spouse when we are working towards goals together.

So that being said; I AM DONE FEELING UGLY!

It's been a while since I made goals. I've just been focusing on living... and that isn't living.
Yes, some of my goals are weight/fitness related. But I know that achieving that weight/fitness won't make me any happier. It's the exercise and the fulfillment of doing something with a purpose that will make me feel better.
I invite you to join me:

LET'S BE SEXY!

Because confidence and peace of mind is sexy.

So for this week I am going to start by making 5 overarching goals. These are my big Kahunas. I won't call them New Years Resolutions because they may not be done this year. I also may reevaluate them along the way. That's okay. Next week I will break these goals down to SMART goals. (We'll go over what SMART means next week)

But for now, think of your Holy Grail kind of goals. Be as vague as you want. These are your dream world goals. Get them all out, write them down.

Got them?

Good.

Now, pick your top 3-5 goals and put them in order of importance. What are your top priorities? If you could have the goals magically done right now. Which would you choose to be done?

Here are mine, the Big 5, as I am calling them.

1. Strengthen my Faith in God (may not be a goal for everyone, but I notice that I am happier when I am closer to God.)

2. Pay off Credit Card debt (I think that one is pretty self explanatory. I used to pay of my credit card right after using it. I would like to go back to that.)

3. Eat the Feingold Diet (I started it last year and noticed it helped my sons behavior but I have gotten out of it. It also forces me to think about what I eat, so I think it will help my diet choices as well.)

4. Fit into my Wedding Dress (I discovered an article last year where a woman would go on a date in her wedding dress on her anniversary every year. My husband is a hopeless romantic and thought it was a wonderful idea. Unfortunately, I can't zip my dress closed. Embarrassing. Don't tell anyone.)

5. Be More Organized (I've always been an organized chaos kind of person but I'm starting to realize that doesn't work for my family. They need to be able to understand and know what's going on. I can't always be there to translate my system. So I want to come up with something that works for everyone.)

What are your goals? I'd love to read about them in the comments!
